Learning Experience Designer (Remote Eligible Costa Rica)
The Learning Experience Designer at Smartsheet plays a key role in developing, designing, and delivering high-quality learning solutions for a growing global audience. As part of the Education Services team, this remote-eligible position in Costa Rica supports the broader mission of empowering customers and employees to use Smartsheet’s collaborative work management platform effectively. The company is known for its focus on innovation and helping organizations streamline work processes through robust software solutions.
In this role, the designer collaborates closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to create engaging training modules, eLearning courses, and other educational resources. Day-to-day activities revolve around needs analysis, storyboarding, content development, and incorporating multimedia and assessments to enhance learning impact. The designer also evaluates learner feedback and analytics to update and improve existing materials.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field, along with proven experience in designing modern learning solutions for digital platforms. Strong skills in instructional design tools, eLearning development software, and visual design are essential. Experience with adult learning principles, project management, and working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment is highly valued.
