Junior Data Engineer
Experian is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join our Analytics team. In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality data solutions. This position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business insights.
As a Junior Data Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the execution of daily ETL/ELT processes using SQL and cloud-based tools such as AWS and SQL Server. You will troubleshoot data pipeline issues, perform data validations, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data processing jobs. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve data documentation and governance processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Practical experience with SQL, Scala, and PySpark is essential, along with a willingness to learn cloud-based data tools like AWS Glue. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities in English, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies are also required.
