InfoSec Engineer
As an InfoSec Engineer at OpenFX, you will be responsible for securing the company's applications, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes environments. This role involves designing and enforcing defenses across AWS and web applications, managing WAFs and firewalls, and driving security automation. You will play a critical role in strengthening the resilience of OpenFX's financial infrastructure and shaping its security posture as the company scales.
Your key responsibilities will include performing web application security testing, conducting code reviews focusing on authentication and data protection, securing AWS accounts by implementing IAM best practices, and hardening Kubernetes clusters. Additionally, you will configure and tune WAF security rules, plan and execute internal penetration tests, design in-house tools for vulnerability scanning, and collaborate with software and DevOps teams to remediate vulnerabilities and influence secure architecture decisions.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of professional experience in Information Security, Application Security, or Cloud Security. A solid understanding of security fundamentals, networking, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure is essential. Hands-on experience with scripting or programming for automation, strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the capability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team are also required.
