Head of Product - Print
As the Head of Product for Print at Canva, you will lead the product strategy and execution for the company's entire Print business. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end Print product vision, including the shopping experience, SKU expansion, partner integrations, international growth, and deeper integration into Canva's ecosystem. The position is based in Sydney, Australia, with flexibility in work location.
Key responsibilities include leading product development across Print's core surfaces such as the Print Panel, Print Shop, logged-out commerce, and partner platform capabilities. You will drive the evolution of Canva Print to prepare for increased investment and scale, building systems to support large-scale partner networks and supply expansion. Additionally, you will own the product roadmap behind major company goals, including a 1,000+ SKU expansion and establishing Canva as the one-stop shop for all printing needs. Building platform capabilities to scale supply and partner integrations, including API integrations, partner onboarding, catalog infrastructure, and partner tooling, is also a critical aspect of this role. Collaboration with Print Operations, Engineering, Data, and Design teams is essential to ship Print's expanding product scope with pace and clarity.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a track record of scaling teams through complexity, raising the bar on craft and execution. You should have the ability to develop and retain high-performing product managers, coaching them and maintaining a high standard of ownership and accountability. Setting a multi-year product vision, making decisions in ambiguous spaces, and prioritizing high-impact initiatives using qualitative and quantitative inputs are key skills. Effective communication of product strategy to executive audiences and building alignment across senior leadership is crucial. Comfort in complex, cross-functional environments and the ability to build scalable systems and processes are important. An AI-forward mindset and the ability to incorporate AI into product strategy to drive meaningful improvements are also valued.
