Garner Health is seeking an exceptional Head of People to lead and scale the People function within the organization. This role is pivotal in building systems that support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and engagement. The Head of People will work closely with the leadership team to ensure a high-performance culture and the growth of extraordinary talent as the company continues to scale.

Key responsibilities include leading and scaling the People function by building systems that support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and engagement. The role also involves partnering closely with the leadership team on organizational design, headcount planning, hiring priorities, and company-wide goal setting. Ensuring a consistently high talent bar and cultural alignment across the organization by embedding company values in performance management and manager practices is essential. Additionally, the Head of People will establish and monitor key people metrics, build and run scalable processes for performance review cycles, compensation planning, leveling frameworks, internal mobility, and career pathing, develop and implement programs that strengthen culture and employee engagement, ensure compliance with employment law, and own HR systems and tools to ensure accuracy and process automation.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive experience in consulting, people, or HR roles, with at least 5 years leading teams. Proven expertise in designing and scaling people systems, including performance management, compensation, and engagement, is required. Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, a strong analytical and metrics-driven mindset, and the ability to partner with executives and influence leaders are essential. A hands-on, builder mindset with the ability to operate strategically while diving into details when needed, along with a passion for Garner’s mission and a commitment to creating an environment where team members can do the best work of their careers, are also important.

Garner Health offers a total cash compensation range for this position of $275,000 to $350,000, inclusive of bonus. Individual compensation will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health, and more.
