Head Counsel, Product - Remote (United States)

Our client, a mission-driven health and wellness platform revolutionizing telehealth for providers and patients, is seeking a Head Counsel, Product. This role reports to the SVP, Associate General Counsel, and involves leading a team of attorneys responsible for legal matters throughout the product lifecycle, including digital offerings and FDA-regulated products. The position offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal advice to executives and senior leaders, manage risk, and develop legal strategies to support the company's global growth.

Key responsibilities include overseeing legal aspects of product development, launch, and marketing, ensuring compliance with advertising and consumer protection laws. The Head Counsel will lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative environment to address complex legal challenges associated with the company's diverse product portfolio.

Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in both law firm and in-house settings, with deep knowledge of legal and regulatory issues in product development and marketing. Management experience with a proven track record of building and leading teams is essential. Experience in consumer goods, health tech, and digital product ecosystems is desirable.

The role offers a competitive annual base salary between $300,000 and $320,000, along with an equity grant and generous benefits. The total compensation package will depend on the candidate's seniority, relevant experience, and geographic location.
