Group Product Manager (Guardians)
Bitso is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of its operations systems, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Prevention, Identity Management, and Back-office platforms. This role involves managing a team of Product Managers and collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop efficient, scalable solutions that support Bitso's rapid growth. The position reports to the Engineering Director.
Key responsibilities include defining the product vision and roadmap for customer trust and safety, overseeing the integration and strategy for authentication and identity management systems, and ensuring compliance with AML and fraud prevention standards. The Group Product Manager will utilize the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) model to set ambitious goals, track progress, and measure the success of the product group. Collaboration with engineers, designers, and various business units is essential to prioritize features and ensure user-centric solutions.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing and mentoring Product Managers, extensive experience working with operational teams, customer support, compliance, legal, and fraud prevention departments, and demonstrated expertise with authentication and identity management systems. A strong background in AML and fraud prevention within a financial or fintech context is required, along with experience in stakeholder management and knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
