Global Communications Lead
Twitch, the world's leading live streaming service, is seeking a Global Communications Lead to join its dynamic Marketing & Communications team. This role is pivotal in shaping and conveying Twitch's narrative across key international markets, enhancing global understanding of the platform's impact and community.
The Global Communications Lead will spearhead communications strategies in select international regions, crafting and pitching stories that highlight Twitch's creators, communities, and cultural moments. Responsibilities include collaborating with agencies to secure proactive media coverage across business, technology, and culture outlets, supporting international issues and crisis communications, and providing media counsel and preparation for Twitch leaders at global speaking engagements.
Candidates should possess over six years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably within a tech or media company with a global presence. Essential qualifications include a proven track record in developing international campaigns tailored to local markets, strong skills in issues management and crisis communications, established relationships with international media across relevant beats, and exceptional writing and editing abilities. Experience managing multiple agency partners across various geographies and time zones is also required.
