General Liability Pre Suit Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney to join their Jackson, Mississippi office. This role involves managing pre-litigation processes for personal injury cases, primarily focusing on general liability matters. The attorney will work closely with a team of case managers to ensure efficient case progression and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include overseeing all pre-litigation activities, guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing necessary documents, and managing settlement negotiations. The attorney will also be responsible for completing liability approvals, managing release processes, and leading a team of 6-10 case managers. Additional tasks involve conducting examinations under oath (EUOs), taking recorded statements, and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Candidates should possess a law degree from an accredited institution and be an active member in good standing with the Mississippi State Bar Association. A minimum of one year of personal injury experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in general liability cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent client service and communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills. A self-starter attitude and a desire to become part of a trial team are also essential.
