About the Role

We're hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineers to join our founding team. This is where product meets reality. As an FDE at Miles, you'll work directly with large logistics enterprises to deeply understand their workflows and ship production-ready solutions that embed AI into their day-to-day operations.

You'll design integrations, deploy AI workers into production environments, and iterate quickly to capture the "unwritten rules" of real-world freight. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer operations. You won't be handing off tickets — you'll own outcomes, drive deployments end-to-end, and help define what forward-deployed engineering looks like at a category-defining, AI-native company.

About You

- 1–4 years of hands-on engineering experience

- Strong in TypeScript and/or Python, and comfortable working with APIs and integrations with multiple systems in production
