Financial Crime & Compliance Product Manager
BVNK is seeking a Financial Crime & Compliance Product Manager to lead the development and management of financial crime tools and systems. This role is integral to ensuring the company's technology remains robust and compliant, effectively mitigating risks associated with money laundering, fraud, and sanctions evasion. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between business units and engineering teams, translating complex financial crime requirements into actionable user stories.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a prioritized product roadmap for financial crime tools, managing the engineering backlog, and driving innovation to enhance detection and prevention capabilities. The role also involves staying abreast of global financial crime regulations and ensuring products meet or exceed compliance standards. Collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and Financial Crime Intelligence teams is essential to gather requirements and define effective product solutions.
Candidates should have over three years of experience as a Product Manager in FinTech, Financial Services, or a related technology-driven environment. Proven experience in managing engineering backlogs within Agile or Scrum frameworks is required. A strong understanding of financial crime prevention, including AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and fraud detection, is essential. Excellent communication skills and a data-driven mindset are also critical for success in this role.
