The Executive Reporting (BI Analyst & Data Engineer) role at WPP Media is a pivotal position within the organization, focusing on transforming raw data into meaningful insights to support executive-level decision-making. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining executive dashboards and reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. The role involves translating business and leadership requirements into data models and reporting solutions, developing and managing data pipelines to ensure reliable and timely data flow, and integrating data from multiple sources, including internal systems and third-party platforms. Ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting outputs is essential, as is providing actionable insights and recommendations to support business strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial is also a key aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering roles, with strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets are required, along with experience in data pipeline tools and programming languages like Python. An understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling is important, as are strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including executives, and a high attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership are also essential.
