Enterprise Business Development Representative - East
Chainguard is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Business Development Representative to join our team. This role focuses on engaging with security and engineering teams to promote our secure open-source software solutions, aiming to build a safer foundation for software development and deployment.
Key responsibilities include driving enterprise account strategies by collaborating with Account Executives to map target accounts and identify key entry points within security, platform, and engineering teams. The representative will craft personalized outreach to resonate with developers, DevOps, and security leaders, conduct research on modern infrastructure to make outreach relevant, and lead meaningful early conversations to qualify opportunities based on technical context and business priorities.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative, preferably working with mid-market or enterprise accounts. A proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound efforts, experience engaging multiple stakeholders within technical organizations, strong writing skills for personalized outreach, and proficiency with tools like Salesforce or Outreach/Salesloft are essential. A track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline targets is also required.
Compensation for this role is $100,000 on-target earnings (OTE).
