Enterprise Account Executive-Strategic Accounts
Smartsheet is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for Strategic Accounts to lead the expansion of our Global 2000 client base. This role involves driving executive engagement and delivering significant growth in software and services bookings. The position is based in San Francisco, CA, and reports to the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts.
The Account Executive will be responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas by effectively managing a diverse pipeline and achieving performance metrics. Key duties include developing and maintaining actionable account plans, collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external partners, and engaging with both Line of Business and IT departments. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with VP-level and C-suite executives, utilizing data and product-led growth signals to inform sales strategies, and leveraging the MEDDICC framework during the sales process.
Candidates should have 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in complex software solutions, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas. A minimum of 3+ years tenure in previous roles is preferred, demonstrating company loyalty and growth trajectory. Strong experience in team-based strategic account planning and execution, proficiency in value selling methodologies such as Force Management or Sandler, and the ability to engage with VP-level and C-suite executives are essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
The compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $130,000 to $180,000 USD, with additional market-competitive incentives.
