Enterprise Account Executive-Strategic Accounts
Smartsheet is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for Strategic Accounts to lead the expansion of our Global 2000 client base. This role involves driving executive engagement, delivering tailored solutions, and achieving significant growth in software and services bookings. The position reports to the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts and focuses on named accounts within the West territory.
Key responsibilities include consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas, effectively managing a diverse pipeline, and developing multi-year account strategies. The role requires collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure positive customer experiences and outcomes. Engagement with both Line of Business and IT departments is essential, utilizing both transactional and value-based selling approaches.
Candidates should have 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in complex software solutions, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas. A minimum of 3 years' tenure in previous roles is preferred, demonstrating loyalty and growth. Strong skills in strategic account planning, value selling methodologies, and executive-level engagement are crucial. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $130,000 to $180,000 USD, with additional market-competitive incentives.
