Key responsibilities include defining and executing sales plans for the assigned territory, effectively communicating the value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers, and developing and managing a robust leads funnel through both inbound and outbound efforts. The role also involves forecasting, meeting, and exceeding sales quotas, managing business opportunities via CRM tools, and collaborating with product, support, and sales engineering teams to enhance all aspects of the sales cycle. Additionally, staying informed about the competitive market landscape is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess over five years of enterprise sales experience, with domain expertise in compute platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as DevOps tooling and CI/CD platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins. A proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets, the ability to quickly learn new products and processes, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial. The role requires a competitive and driven individual who is a team player, willing to travel to support client relationships, and demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong work ethic.
