Enterprise Account Executive - Financial Services
As an Enterprise Account Executive in the Financial Services vertical at Gong, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by acquiring new customers within the financial services industry. This position involves managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing, positioning yourself as a trusted, consultative advisor. You will work closely with a team that values innovation, transparency, and trust, contributing significantly to Gong's growth journey.
Your primary responsibilities will include driving new business growth within a greenfield territory, developing tailored account plans aligned with Gong's overall strategy, and effectively communicating Gong's value proposition to potential customers. You will engage with senior executives to educate them on the evolving Revenue Intelligence industry, establishing Gong as a market leader. Collaboration with Sales Development Representatives, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams will be essential to craft account-based sales strategies that drive value across all go-to-market teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years selling complex SaaS solutions to enterprise clients in the financial services sector. A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets of $1M+ net new Annual Recurring Revenue and consistently closing six-figure deals in complex sales cycles is essential. Strong business acumen, experience selling to senior leaders within enterprise organizations, and proficiency in value-based selling methodologies like MEDDPICC are also required.
