Enterprise Account Executive - DACH
Chainguard is seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to join our sales team, focusing on the DACH region. As a trusted source for open-source software, Chainguard delivers hardened, secure, and production-ready builds, enabling organizations to build faster, maintain compliance, and eliminate risk. Our clientele includes Fortune 500 enterprises and global industry leaders.
In this role, you will define and execute sales plans for your assigned territory, convey value propositions and product differentiators to prospects and customers, and forecast, meet, and exceed sales quotas. You will develop and manage a leads funnel through a combination of inbound and outbound strategies, manage business opportunities through CRM and other supporting tools, and collaborate on all aspects of the sales cycle, including product, support, and sales engineering. Understanding the competitive market and being familiar with competing companies and their offerings is essential.
The ideal candidate is a native or fluent German speaker based in Germany, with over six years of enterprise sales experience. Domain experience with compute platforms (such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms (like GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins), and the overall software development lifecycle is required. A strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets, the ability to learn new products and processes quickly, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The candidate should be competitive, driven, a team player, and willing to travel to support client relationships as needed.
