As an Engineering Manager for Store Applications at Telexistence Inc., you will lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions utilized daily by store staff and on-site operators. Your primary responsibilities include leading product engineering efforts for store applications, translating ambiguous requirements into actionable engineering plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Business Development and Operations. You will oversee the technical execution and modernization of existing systems, managing a hybrid technology stack that includes Unity, Blazor, C#, React, and TypeScript. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring production delivery and reliability, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining high release quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in software development, particularly with C# and a strong background in frontend or user-facing product development using technologies like Unity, Blazor, React, or TypeScript. Experience with REST API or gRPC, Git/GitHub workflows, and a solid understanding of testing, observability, and incident response are essential. Leadership experience in managing engineering teams or initiatives, as well as proficiency in both Japanese (native or JLPT N1 equivalent) and English at a business level, are required.
