Experian is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a distributed technical team, ensuring high-quality software delivery aligned with the company's global engineering standards and business strategy. This role involves driving team performance, fostering cross-region collaboration, supporting technical direction, and promoting operational excellence to build a strong, engaged, and scalable engineering organization.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing a distributed technical team, integrating newly hired engineers into existing US-centric teams and workflows, and establishing delivery predictability, engineering quality, and operational excellence. The role also involves contributing to process definition, job leveling, onboarding, hiring, and team expansion during the early phase of the Brazil GDC initiative, as well as providing technical direction across multiple disciplines and collaborating with global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading engineering teams in distributed or remote environments, a strong foundation in modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, testing, observability, and architectural decision-making, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of agile principles, architecture and security standards, and compliance practices is essential, along with clear communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments. Advanced English proficiency and availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed are also required.
