Engineering Manager
Experian is seeking a collaborative and customer-focused Engineering Manager to lead one to two engineering teams. This role emphasizes people leadership, focusing on coaching, supporting, and guiding teams to deliver innovative customer journeys and features while closely collaborating with stakeholders.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing high-performing software engineering teams, attracting and retaining top talent, and delivering secure, resilient, and high-quality software aligned with Experian's strategy and product roadmaps. Key responsibilities include providing guidance to agile teams, collaborating with Product Owners on technology roadmaps, implementing efficient delivery approaches, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing team performance and development, and ensuring the security posture of products and services.
Candidates should have over 14 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role. Essential qualifications include expertise and React, strong knowledge of microservice architecture delivered Core, Node.js, and React, hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as CloudFront, S3, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB, familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, full-stack development experience including unit testing and acceptance test automation, experience developing Flutter applications for iOS and Android, and a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software analytics. AWS certification is preferred.
