This role is integral to the firm's financial operations, ensuring accurate and efficient management of client billing data. The position is based in White Plains, New York, with potential for remote work in states where Wilson Elser has offices.

The e-Billing Rate Compliance Administrator is responsible for setting up and maintaining client and matter information within the firm's financial database. Key duties include managing and tracking the submission of timekeeper and rate data to various legal billing middleware sites, ensuring compliance with client-specific requirements. The role also involves liaising with attorneys, clients, middleware vendors, and other administrative teams to resolve any issues that arise during the invoice upload process. Additionally, the administrator will assess the e-billing timekeeper and rate submission process for potential improvements and efficiencies.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, with equivalent training and 1-3 years of experience in legal e-billing considered a substitute for formal education. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with legal billing and middleware systems, such as Legal Exchange, TyMetrix 360, Legal-X, and Serengeti/Legal Tracker, is advantageous. The ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients, both orally and in writing, is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
