Distinguished Engineer, Reactor Systems

Kairos Power is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead the Reactor Systems department in the design, integration, analysis, testing, qualification, and deployment of its fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor technology. This role involves establishing the long-term technical vision and engineering strategy for reactor systems, ensuring designs meet safety, performance, quality, manufacturability, maintainability, and deployment objectives. The Distinguished Engineer will provide independent technical leadership across multiple engineering organizations, shaping reactor system architecture, design philosophy, engineering standards, and technical strategy for Kairos Power’s advanced reactor program.
