Dispute Resolution Counsel
Eqvilent is seeking a Senior Dispute Resolution Counsel to join its legal team. This role involves independently managing complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes, including commercial litigation, international arbitration, and financial recovery cases. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing candidates to operate from anywhere globally.
Key responsibilities include overseeing high-stakes disputes such as breaches of rental agreements and contracts, fraudulent misrepresentation cases, and financial recovery matters. The counsel will draft and file legal documents across various jurisdictions, manage all phases of litigation—including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation—and coordinate with local counsels. Additionally, the role involves conducting legal research, managing e-discovery processes, and assisting in settlement negotiations.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law. A minimum of 7 to 10 years of litigation or dispute resolution experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is required. Essential skills include strong analytical and legal research abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in e-discovery platforms, and the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively.
