Director, Technical Talent Acquisition
Klaviyo is seeking a Director of Technical Talent Acquisition to lead and enhance our technical recruiting strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping our engineering, product, and data teams, which are at the forefront of developing customer technology at scale. The Director will report to the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition and collaborate closely with senior technical leaders to meet Klaviyo's ambitious growth objectives.
The Director will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of technical recruiters by establishing clear productivity metrics and goals to drive excellence. Key responsibilities include partnering with senior technical executives to understand hiring needs, designing and optimizing recruiting processes to ensure exceptional candidate experiences, and developing innovative sourcing strategies across various platforms. Additionally, the role involves championing equity, diversity, and inclusion in technical hiring, implementing global hiring strategies, and leveraging data to continually improve recruiting effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience leading talent acquisition strategies, with a significant focus on technical recruiting for engineering, product, and data functions. A minimum of 5 years of direct people management experience is required, preferably leading high-growth technical recruiting teams in fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of technical talent markets, engineering assessment practices, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with technical executives are essential. Excellent communication skills, a data-driven approach to evaluating recruiting health, and a focus on operational excellence are also critical for success in this role.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $188,000 to $282,000, depending on factors such as job-related skills, experience, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
