Director, Solutions Engineering
ROLLER is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead and scale our Americas Solutions Engineering team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the Solutions Engineering function operates as a high-performing, sales-aligned engine across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments. The Director will partner closely with Americas Sales Leadership to drive pipeline quality, accelerate deal velocity, and compellingly position ROLLER's platform throughout the sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include coaching and developing a team of 5-7 Solution Engineers, building a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement, and attracting top talent as the team scales. The role involves leading strategic deals by driving discovery, delivering tailored demonstrations, and navigating complex technical evaluations. Additionally, the Director will design and own the Americas Solutions Engineering engagement model, build repeatable demo frameworks, and define KPIs to track team performance.
The ideal candidate will have proven success leading Solution Engineering or Pre-Sales functions in a vertical SaaS environment, proficiency in product-led demos and ROI-based selling, and strong collaboration skills across Sales, Product, Education, Partnerships, and Customer Success. Experience in a scaling SaaS company, building teams and processes from the ground up, is essential. Familiarity with configuration-heavy products, APIs, integrations, and data flows is preferred.
