Director of Total Rewards and Talent Management
Garner Health is seeking a Director of Total Rewards and Talent Management to lead the development and enhancement of our performance, compensation, and benefits programs. This role is integral to shaping our People function and ensuring alignment with our mission to transform the healthcare economy. The position is based in our New York City office, with an expectation of in-office presence three days per week.
The Director will be responsible for managing bi-annual performance reviews, promotions, and compensation planning cycles. They will develop tools and training for employees and managers related to Talent Management and Total Rewards. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the design and administration of healthcare benefits, ancillary benefits, 401(k) plans, and perks. The Director will also act as the product manager for People systems, driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
Candidates should have over seven years of experience in the People/HR field, with at least two years in a leadership role focused on Talent Management and/or Total Rewards. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is essential, with experience in building scalable compensation planning tools and people analytics dashboards preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high ownership mentality, agility, and exceptional project management skills, along with a deep understanding of innovative performance and compensation practices.
The base salary range for this position is $230,000 to $275,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health, and more.
