Director of Business Development, Agentic Payments
The Director of Business Development, Agentic Payments at Rumble will lead the go-to-market strategy and establish strategic partnerships for Rumble Cloud's crypto-native infrastructure services and payment systems. This role is pivotal in building a robust ecosystem of exchanges, wallets, AI/agent platforms, and payment providers, positioning Rumble Cloud as the premier infrastructure for agentic payments. While Rumble has offices in Toronto, Sarasota, Miami, and Washington D.C., this position offers the flexibility of remote work.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the business development strategy for Rumble Cloud's crypto Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and payment infrastructure, targeting sectors such as exchanges, neobanks, payment processors, wallets, DeFi, and AI/agent platforms. The role involves managing a pipeline of strategic accounts from initial contact through to deal closure and expansion, structuring commercial models for agentic payments, and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to shape the crypto IaaS and payments roadmap based on market feedback.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within the crypto, payments, or cloud infrastructure sectors, with a proven track record of securing high-value B2B deals. A deep understanding of blockchain technologies, including L1/L2, wallets, custody, stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and DeFi, is essential. The candidate should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly technical environment.
The annual compensation for this role ranges from $225,000 to $275,000 USD, inclusive of base salary, benefits, and equity. The exact salary offered will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and alignment with Rumble's internal compensation structure.
