The Director of Account Executives (SMB) at KnowBe4 is responsible for leading a team of 12-15 Account Executives focused on the small and medium-sized business market. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance and ensuring the team meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. KnowBe4, a global leader in Human Risk Management, has been at the forefront of cybersecurity solutions for over 15 years, serving more than 70,000 organizations worldwide.

Key responsibilities include managing and coaching the Account Executives to develop a world-class sales team, monitoring team performance through data analytics, and conducting regular pipeline reviews to ensure forecast accuracy. The Director will also support the team by assisting in closing deals, handling customer objections, and reactivating lapsed accounts. Additionally, the role involves driving the adoption of AI-powered sales technologies to optimize productivity and decision-making.

Candidates should have at least one year of sales management experience and three or more years in a closing sales role within IT, SaaS, or cybersecurity sectors. A relevant associate's or bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Proficiency with advanced sales tools such as SalesLoft, Gong, Marketo, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record of sales success in a SaaS environment, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
