Director, Head of International Competition Law Compliance
Delivery Hero is seeking a Director, Head of International Competition Law Compliance to join its Global Antitrust and Trade Law team. This senior leadership role involves overseeing a team of competition law experts and enhancing the company's compliance program across its global operations. The position is based at Delivery Hero's headquarters in Berlin, Germany.
The Director will lead regional competition law compliance efforts, integrating competition law principles into business decisions to support sustainable growth in complex regulatory environments. Responsibilities include managing and developing an international team of competition law lawyers, driving the design and implementation of the global competition law compliance program, advising senior leadership on strategic initiatives and regulatory investigations, and translating regulatory developments into practical, business-oriented guidance.
Candidates must be fully qualified lawyers with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in leading law firms and international in-house environments. A qualification to practice in the EU and/or UK is preferred, with exposure to technology-driven or platform businesses considered advantageous. The role requires deep expertise in antitrust and competition law compliance, proven leadership experience in managing high-performing international teams, and a strong background in advising on complex competition law investigations across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent strategic judgment and outstanding communication skills are essential.
