Digital Operations Analyst
The Digital Operations Analyst at Experian is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and operational readiness of digital data pipelines and partner integrations. This role involves monitoring production workflows, performing operational engineering tasks, and onboarding new partners and data feeds. The analyst will collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, and external partners to maintain seamless daily operations and support the growth of digital platforms, reporting directly to the Digital Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities include monitoring daily AWS, Airflow, and EMS production workflows to identify and resolve run failures, performing basic diagnostics and impact assessments, managing incidents through ServiceNow or Jira, and maintaining dashboards, alerts, and operational runbooks. The analyst will also investigate and resolve minor production issues such as Python fixes, configuration updates, and permissions adjustments, apply quick operational adjustments without full engineering cycles, maintain small automation scripts and utilities, and collaborate with Engineering for complex defects. Additionally, the role involves setting up partner environments using templated AWS/Airflow/EMS configurations, validating test feeds, schemas, formats, and data quality, configuring ingestion pipelines and supporting first-run execution, and documenting onboarding steps to ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, along with 1–3 years of experience in data operations, data engineering support, or a similar technical role. Experience with cloud-based data workflows, particularly AWS, practical exposure to Airflow, ETL pipelines, or operational data environments, hands-on experience with Python scripting and debugging, and an understanding of structured data formats such as CSV, JSON, and XML are essential. Familiarity with Git or similar version-control systems, operational knowledge of AWS services like S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and IAM basics, and the ability to read logs/exceptions and diagnose production run failures are also required. Strong cross-team coordination skills and confidence in working with external partners are important for success in this role.
