Digital Analyst
The Digital Analyst role at WPP Media involves developing comprehensive media plans for branding and performance campaigns, aligned with the business objectives of a global beauty industry account, focusing on the Latin American region. The analyst will conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience studies to inform strategies and propose innovative solutions. This position requires close collaboration with activation and business intelligence teams to ensure optimal implementation and data analysis for strategic insights.
Key responsibilities include proposing budget allocations across various channels and platforms, particularly in digital media such as retail media and major platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads. The analyst will serve as a mentor for junior analysts, supporting their skill development and plan creation. Maintaining strategic contact with the client's Latin American and global teams, especially in Mexico, is essential to understand their needs and present effective media solutions. Additionally, the role involves preparing and presenting media plans and strategic recommendations to leadership and clients, identifying new media opportunities, and monitoring competitive landscapes and technological innovations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic media planning for both branding and performance, with prior agency experience and proven expertise in account management at the Latin American or global level. Advanced English proficiency is required. A solid understanding of retail media platforms, such as Amazon Ads, and major media platforms from a strategic planning perspective is essential. Experience with media planning and research tools, including audience and competitor analysis tools, is also necessary. The candidate should possess a highly analytical, strategic, and creative mindset, with excellent logical reasoning and the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
