DevSecOps Júnior
Experian is seeking a motivated Junior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Security Engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing our multi-cloud security posture across AWS and GCP, support automation initiatives, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into every stage of the development lifecycle. This position offers an opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys learning, takes ownership, and thrives in a collaborative, process-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include supporting the design, implementation, and improvement of security controls across AWS and GCP environments. You will work closely with Development, DevOps/SRE, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure secure-by-design practices. Additionally, you will contribute to automation initiatives to reduce manual processes, assist in evaluating and operating security tools and integrations, and help document processes, workflows, and security standards.
The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of cloud security, preferably with exposure to AWS and/or GCP, and an understanding of DevSecOps concepts, security best practices, and CI/CD principles. Basic hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments, familiarity with GitHub or other Git-based version control systems, and scripting ability in Go or Python are essential. An understanding of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools is beneficial. The role requires the ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, an open mindset, and the ability to understand end-to-end systems. Advanced English proficiency and availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed are also required.
