Developer Productivity Engineer
Experian is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to join a dedicated team focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of approximately 150 engineers within Experian Marketing Services (EMS). This role is pivotal in advancing the company's commitment to security and developer experience, aiming to standardize, migrate, and educate teams to achieve consistent and high-quality development practices.
The primary responsibilities include redesigning CI/CD pipelines to improve build times and reduce failures, developing developer-friendly abstractions that incorporate security and compliance requirements, creating and maintaining standardized templates and tooling, coordinating platform migrations to unify SDLC tooling, documenting best practices, building internal tools to automate repetitive tasks, and collaborating with various teams to integrate their requirements into developer workflows.
Candidates should possess advanced English proficiency and be available to travel to São Carlos/SP as needed. Technical qualifications include proficiency in TypeScript or similar languages for scripting and automation, hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD systems, working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, and familiarity with security and compliance concepts in developer workflows. Experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or developer tooling is essential, along with a track record of influencing engineering practices and working on shared services or internal platforms.
