This role combines hands-on modeling, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable improvements in data assets and business processes. Reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and generative AI-driven solutions that enhance data quality, automation, and insight generation across commercial financial services data domains.

Key responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable machine learning solutions to improve data quality, matching, classification, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, with a master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, generative AI, or advanced analytics roles is required. Proven experience leading end-to-end machine learning initiatives from problem definition through deployment in production environments is essential. Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy), distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Spark/PySpark), and SQL (advanced query design and optimization) is also necessary. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, and designing and implementing solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI or Google Gemini is highly desirable.
