Data Center Operations Manager

As a Data Center Operations Manager at fal, you will lead the establishment and management of our physical infrastructure as we transition from rented capacity to owning our data centers. This pivotal role involves designing, fitting out, and commissioning white space across both owned and colocation sites, ensuring high-performance and scalable environments for our generative media ecosystem.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the deployment of over 10MW of data center capacity, architecting interconnected supercomputing and high-performance computing clusters, and building and leading smart hands and break-fix teams. You will manage a multi-site portfolio through various stages, from build and commission to ramp and live operations, while holding vendors and integrators accountable to schedules and specifications.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong operations background who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable with ambitious deadlines. You should possess extensive knowledge of relevant OEMs and colocation providers, as well as a keen understanding of market conditions, including capacity availability and power pricing across key regions.
