Workplace Manager
The Workplace Manager at fal will oversee the daily operations of our San Francisco headquarters, ensuring a clean, stocked, and welcoming environment for employees and guests. This role involves managing office facilities, coordinating with building management and service vendors, and maintaining physical security and access processes. The Workplace Manager will report to the People and Culture Lead and collaborate closely with IT, Finance, and leadership teams to support the company's growth and culture.
Key responsibilities include managing daily office operations such as shared space upkeep, inventory management, and mail services. The role also involves overseeing relationships with building management and service vendors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting logistics for team events and onsite meetings. Additionally, the Workplace Manager will handle new hire onboarding logistics, maintain seating plans, and anticipate workspace and supply needs.
Candidates should have 3–5+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or facilities coordination. Familiarity with Union building requirements and strong vendor management skills are essential. The role requires excellent organizational habits, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and availability to be onsite five days a week in San Francisco are also necessary.
The compensation for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000, along with equity and a comprehensive benefits package. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, regular team events and offsites, and support for visa sponsorship and relocation to San Francisco.
