In this role, the researcher is responsible for deploying and configuring various security products and solutions, including endpoint, email, web, and network protection. Key responsibilities involve analyzing trends and patterns in large datasets to establish threat trends across regions, industries, and business segment sizes. The researcher will investigate phishing emails, perform malware analysis, and contribute regularly to external-facing KnowBe4 Threat Labs content such as blogs.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least three years of experience, or a Master's degree or equivalent with at least one year of experience. Essential skills include proficiency with Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), reverse engineering, threat campaign tracking, and experience in malicious URL and phishing email analysis. Proficiency in scripting automations using Python for handling large volumes of threat artifacts is also required.
