Cybersecurity - Compliance Advisor
The Cybersecurity - Compliance Advisor at Interactive Brokers (IBKR) is a hybrid role based in Greenwich, Connecticut, combining in-office and remote work. The Compliance Advisor will support the firm's technology enterprise by designing and conducting reviews for cybersecurity, information security, and privacy initiatives.
Key responsibilities include guiding stakeholders across security engineering and cyber defense teams, supporting incident response efforts, implementing internal control enhancements, drafting business requirements for surveillance and compliance tools, coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries, and drafting and implementing firm policies and procedures.
Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience working with IT risk or security teams, a solid academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Sciences, or Information Systems, and experience with incident management, SIEM tools, log analysis, privacy and data protection, and industry standards such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, and ISACA. Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, CFTC, CME, NFA, US and foreign regulations, as well as attack frameworks and kill chain methodology, is a plus.
