The Customer Success Representative for the Portuguese market at Alpega will be an integral part of the sales organization, focusing on managing and expanding the customer portfolio. This role is based in Sant Cugat, Barcelona, and involves working within the Freight Exchange (FX) Business unit, contributing to the company's mission of providing modular solutions for end-to-end transportation management.
Key responsibilities include overseeing contract renewals, customer retention, and upselling to existing B2B clients. The representative will provide customer support via phone and email, address and escalate customer concerns as needed, and onboard new clients by assisting with account configuration. Additionally, the role involves implementing customer development strategies through initial guidance, technical support, and training services, as well as supporting the Controlling Department with cancellations, cash collection, and debt mediation. Attendance at industry events and on-site client visits are also required.
Candidates should have previous experience in sales roles such as Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR). Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, along with proficiency in English and/or Spanish. Applicants must reside within commuting distance of Barcelona. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, highly motivated, and focused on client satisfaction, with strong teamwork and relationship-building skills. High accuracy standards are essential, and experience with Salesforce is considered a plus.
