Country Content Strategy Lead
The Country Content Strategy Lead at Canva is responsible for developing and executing content strategies tailored to specific regional markets, ensuring that content aligns with local cultural nuances and user preferences. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, SEO, Marketing, and Localization, to drive user engagement and growth within the designated country.
Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end content strategy for the country, identifying cultural and product gaps, and producing and surfacing content swiftly. The lead will act as the senior local voice on content, partnering closely with the Country Manager and central teams to ensure content directly supports growth, frequency, and clarity.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of experience in content strategy, regional business operations, or a similar role at a high-growth tech or media company. They should possess a deep understanding of local culture, trends, and user behaviors, and be comfortable shaping strategy and executing without waiting for a playbook. Fluency in the local language(s) and cultural knowledge relevant to the geographic market are essential.
