Corporate Transactions & Advisory Associate
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a Corporate Transactions & Advisory Associate to join their London team. The firm is renowned for providing high-quality legal advice that combines global standards with in-depth local expertise. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, cross-border transactions across various sectors, including financial services, energy, consumer goods, healthcare, industrials, real estate, aviation, and technology.
As an Associate, you will be involved in advising clients on public and private mergers and acquisitions (M&A), disposals, demergers, joint ventures, restructurings, and high-value commercial contracts. Your responsibilities will include providing legal and commercial expertise on complex M&A transactions, large-scale reorganisations, joint venture arrangements, and corporate advisory work. You will collaborate with cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with local laws and business requirements, and actively engage in business development and thought leadership initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate law, gained at a city firm or a highly regarded overseas common law practice. Experience advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions is essential. Strong document drafting, communication, and analytical skills, along with a high level of commercial awareness, are required.
