Corporate Paralegal

Flagship Pioneering, a leading life sciences venture capital firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join its dynamic legal team. The firm specializes in conceiving, creating, and developing first-in-category life sciences companies to transform human health and sustainability. As a Corporate Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the legal department's operations and ensuring compliance across the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with corporate governance matters, including the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, minutes, and resolutions. You will coordinate and manage the execution of legal documents, support mergers and acquisitions, and assist with due diligence processes. Additionally, you will help manage intellectual property portfolios, including tracking deadlines and coordinating filings. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating closely with legal counsel, business development teams, and other departments to ensure seamless legal operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property management. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a paralegal certificate is preferred. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also important.
