In this capacity, the Corporate Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor for Market Access, addressing a wide array of legal, compliance, and regulatory issues. Key responsibilities include advising on the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and competition law matters. The role also involves preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex government, payor, and trade agreements, as well as staying informed about changes in laws affecting the business.
Candidates should possess a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be in good standing with the state bar of the jurisdiction where the office is located. A minimum of five years of relevant legal experience is required, with prior pharmaceutical experience preferred. Applicants should have a strong understanding of commercial payor and trade contracting, along with the emerging legal and regulatory landscape. The ability to manage high-visibility projects and effectively communicate complex legal concepts is essential.
Compensation for this role ranges from $137,500 to $261,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
