Corporate Administrative Assistant
Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a Corporate Administrative Assistant to join its Orlando office. This role involves providing high-level administrative support to a dynamic team of corporate legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within the corporate practice group.
The Corporate Administrative Assistant will manage attorneys' calendars and meetings, process expense reimbursements, and offer general administrative support across the office. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, editing, redlining, and formatting a variety of legal documents, maintaining organized document management systems, and assisting with transactional and regulatory work, including coordination with regulatory agencies. The role also involves client and matter intake processes, such as running conflict checks, opening new client and matter engagements, and establishing client-specific billing requirements. Additional administrative and project-based tasks may be assigned as business needs evolve.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting corporate attorneys and a strong willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies. Attention to detail is critical when reviewing documents. Experience with document management systems, billing software, time entry programs, and electronic docket filing is strongly preferred.
