Contract Specialist

Hut 8 is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our Legal team, reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel. This role is pivotal in managing the company's contracting processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and risk mitigation across various agreements.

The Contract Specialist will be responsible for conducting initial reviews and redlining of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, software-as-a-service (SaaS) contracts, and standard service agreements using established playbooks. Key duties include drafting contracts from approved templates, maintaining contract status trackers, ensuring complete documentation prior to execution, and overseeing contract management processes to ensure organized and compliant documentation practices.

Candidates should possess 3–7+ years of experience in reviewing, redlining, and managing the commercial contract lifecycle. A strong working knowledge of NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, and service contracts is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with contract lifecycle management tools and e-signature platforms is also required.
