Consultant (Litigation)

The Consultant (Litigation) role at Clifford Chance involves providing transactional and case support to the firm's global legal teams from the Gurgaon office in India. This position is integral to the firm's operations, offering assistance on international finance, capital markets, corporate, and commercial litigation matters. The consultant will collaborate closely with lawyers in London and other global offices, contributing to the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional legal services worldwide.

Key responsibilities include preparing documentation based on templates or previous deal documents, supporting large, multijurisdictional transactions by updating and organizing litigation materials, and redacting documents. The consultant will also review documents for specific provisions, prepare summaries of key terms, collate and index documents, and conduct research on specified case laws. Utilizing internal legal technology tools and generative AI to support Clifford Chance teams effectively and efficiently is also a crucial part of the role.

Candidates must be qualified as an Indian Advocate to ensure they have the relevant background training to understand the work of the firm. While not practicing Indian law, the consultant will apply their technical knowledge across various fields supported by the Global Delivery Centre. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is essential, along with strong organizational skills to manage tasks involving high volumes of documents and tight deadlines.
