Compliance Surveillance Analyst
As a Compliance Surveillance Analyst at AlphaSense, you will be an integral part of the Compliance Team, ensuring that expert call transcripts adhere to legal and regulatory standards. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the initial reviewer of expert call transcripts, identifying and addressing any instances of material nonpublic or confidential information. You will conduct thorough due diligence for each call, document any violations, and escalate non-compliance issues as necessary. Additionally, you will perform advanced research using financial reports and regulatory filings to determine the public availability of information, manage communications efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain accurate records of processes and workflows.
The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, compliance analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar role, though this is preferred and not mandatory. Strong transferable skills such as research and analysis are highly valued. Attention to detail, excellent reading comprehension, and experience in proofreading, drafting, and investigative research are essential. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently in a dynamic environment is crucial. Adaptability to changing priorities and contributing to innovative solutions that support business needs are also important attributes.
The base compensation for this position ranges from $53,000 to $57,000 USD annually. Additional benefits may include a performance-based bonus, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits program.
