Commodities Volatility Trader

IMC is expanding its London-based trading team with a focus on listed commodities options. The Commodities Volatility Trader will be responsible for identifying and monetizing short- and long-term mispricings in the market. Key duties include managing resulting positions, developing market-making strategies, and overseeing risk. The role involves significant responsibility and ownership from the outset, with collaboration across traders, quants, and developers.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in commodities markets and hold a BS, MS, or PhD, preferably in a STEM field. A quantitative and strategic mindset, strong technical skills in statistics and Python, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience in risk management, market-making strategies, and product knowledge is preferred, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
