Commercial Account Director - Government - Hybrid
Experian is seeking an accomplished Strategic Account Director to lead our Government Portfolio. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, this role focuses on driving growth, engagement, and revenue generation within existing government portfolios and expanding our footprint in the government sector. The successful candidate will deliver tailored solutions from our suite of offerings, including Decisioning software, Credit Bureau data, Open Banking Solutions, and Fraud & ID offerings.
Key responsibilities include leading and expanding relationships with over 40 existing government accounts, identifying growth opportunities within these accounts, and proactively pursuing new business across key federal and state government panels. The role also involves taking the commercial lead in achieving positive bidding outcomes and aligning Experian's value propositions with client business drivers.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience selling into government sectors, demonstrating a history in complex sales and understanding complex solutions. An enthusiastic outlook, team orientation, advanced communication, presentation, and listening skills are essential. A consultative and approachable manner is also required.
